Ahead of Super 6 : Transfer window is declared open for premiership clubs

The Nigeria Women Football League Secretariat has declared opened the Transfer Window for the 2020/2021 NWFL Premiership season.

The NWFL Chief Operating Officer, Modupe Shabi, said from her base in Abuja, that, the transfer window at the moment is opened only to Super Six teams.

“For now, only the Super Six clubs; Bayelsa Queens, Delta Queens, Edo Queens, Rivers Angels, FC Robo and Sunshine Queens, are the only eligible clubs for the transfer window.

“The Transfer window is aimed at helping the Super Six clubs fortify their teams for tougher challenge.”

She noted that, the process of the Transfer Window will be done by internet online to enable easy and prompt access to the NWFL Secretariat in Abuja.

Adding that, clubs with successful transfers will collect the players’ licence(s) at the Dipo Dina International Stadium Ijebu-Ode from Saturday, April 17 before the kick-off of the NWFL Super Six Challenge.
