ANFASSC recounts credible display in Lagos, set for AFCON 2021

It was a dazzling outing from Authentic Nigeria Football And Allied Sports Supporters Club, ANFASSC on Tuesday, March 30, 2021 When Nigeria hosted Lesotho in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

The foremost supporters club in the country took trumpets and drums to the street of Lagos to create awareness and make people feel the vibe of having the country’s men National team in town.

Led by its National President Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi, teaming members in uniform took to the streets and trekked from the club Secretariat , 96, Ogunlana drive to the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos.

Drums were rolled out to compliment the trumpets and then others were singing along to the songs in support of the Super Eagles.

At every stop, Lagosians would join ANFASSC to sing along and cheer them, some places were to a standstill.

With notable personalities like “Mama Arsenal” in sight, It was a Colourful display all through to the stadium.

The game proper brought out the best in ANFASSC, right from the blast of the whistle till the end of the game, the display was overwhelming, unique and a beauty to behold.

National President of ANFASSC, Prince Abayomi Ogunjimi appreciated all members for bringing their A game to the table and assured Nigerians that the Club will always give out quality representation and support for sport in the country

“To God be the Glory, it was a decent job from the beginning to the end, it wouldn’t have been possible without the collective effort from every team member”.

“To every fan on the street, the individuals that gave us the support, the national team, the Nigeria Football Federation and all stakeholders, it’s a promise that when next and everytime you see the Authentic brand, the quality will not drop”.

ANFASSC will be present at the Cameroon 2021 Africa Cup of Nations just like it did at the Egypt 2019 edition
