Oluchi Tobex Tobe-Chukwu

Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu, popularly known as Tobex, is the chief football writer/ executive director of Tobex media services. She is the vice chairman of the sports writers Association of Nigeria, Lagos chapter.

She is the media manager of the Super Falcons of Nigeria(the senior women’ football national team). She is an award winning football writer.

Oluchi is an ex footballer who was privileged to play in the first NFF organised women’s football league in 1990 as a player of Hamza Queens. Her last club as an active footballer was Ibom Angels as she paved the way to further her education years ago.

She has travelled around the world for football duties (USA, New Zealand, Japan , Austria , Mexico, Australia, Canada ,Turkey , South Korea , Morocco, Egypt , Ghana , Ethiopia, South Africa, Cape Verde , Ivory Coast etc.
Tobex was a federal government scholar with a degree in mass communication and a second degree in communication studies with an emphasis on public relations and advertising.

• She has been a Nigerian Football Federation Licensed Match Commissioner since 2017.
• She has had extensive training training both with CAF and FIFA.
• She is presently a CAF Venue Media Officer.
• She is a CSP with the Police Supernumerary Unit.
• She is married with 2 boys.
