Chiamaka Nnadozie’ Paris FC Thrashes Regina Otu’ St. Etiene In French D1

In a spectacular showdown at the Stade Salif Keita, Super Falcons’ safe hands Chiamaka Nnadozie once again proved her mettle, guiding Paris FC Féminine to a resounding 6-1 triumph over compatriot Regina Otu’s Saint Etienne Féminine in the French Division 1 Féminine league.

Despite a relentless effort by Otu, the resilient Paris FC side dominated the game, solidifying their place as a formidable force in the league.

Nnadozie’s side currently sits second on the French Women’s league table, boasting 18 points after 7 games, trailing behind Lyon FC Women’s team who has 21 points from the same number of games.

Nnadozie’s Paris FC Féminine have only lost one league match this season to league leaders, Lyon FC who beat them 6-1 in the French Division 1 Féminine league Match Day 6 encounter.

In yesterday’s thrilling Matchday 7 encounter, the Nigerian Super Falcons safe hands had little to do during the game, but same cannot be said for her National teammate, Regina Otu, who showed her resilience in the face of a challenging game for her Saint Etienne Féminines side against a rampaging Paris FC side.

Otu played a pivotal role, working tirelessly from her defensive midfield position to rally Saint Etienne into the game. Her efforts were, however, met with a steadfast Paris FC Féminine midfield that largely contained her influence throughout the match.

In the 19th minute, Saint Etienne saw a glimmer of hope as Alexandria Lamontagne’s skillful left-footed strike found the back of Chiamaka Nnadozie’s goal, levelling the score. This impressive goal was facilitated by Cindy Caputo’s well-placed cross following a rapid break, but it was not enough to stop the in-form Paris FC side.

Otu’s almost game-changing moment in the closing stages of the first-half demonstrated her determination, nearly setting up an assist for Lamontagne, but fate swayed the shot wide.

Saint Etienne Féminine’s struggles this season continues as they now find themselves at the bottom of the league table, with 6 losses in 7 games.

Both Nigerian superstars, Nnadozie and Otu, played the entire duration of the game, displaying their resilience and skill in every moment on the field.

Looking ahead, Nnadozie’s Paris FC gears up for their next challenge at home against BK Häcken in the UEFA Women’s Champions League, while Otu’s Saint Etienne Féminine prepares for an important game away at Lille, aiming to reverse their season’s fate and steer clear of relegation.

Saturday’s encounter was a testament to the strength and prowess of these talented athletes, showcasing their unwavering determination and skill on the field. As the season progresses, all eyes remain fixed on the remarkable performances of these Super Falcons stars.
