Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum believes Deborah Abiodun has shown ability to play at the top level, after she gave out a good performance against Canada, in the opening day of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Abiodun, though was punished with a red card, after a rough challenge on Canada’s player Ashley Lawrence, played well and gave a good account of herself.

Waldrum, who feels the return of Abiodun from suspension could give him difficulties in making decisions, hailed the young player for her strong output in the game.
“She has shown her ability to play at this level, so it would make my decision a bit difficult when she comes back from suspension,” Waldrum said, during the official press conference prior to the Australian game.
The 19 year old joined Pittsburgh University Football team some months ago from Rivers Angels and had a decent Performance against Canada in Super Falcons first game of the 2023 World Cup.
