FIFAWWC’23 : Ajibade Appreciates Great Support From Her Mum.

Super Falcons Midfielder Rasheedat Ajibade has acknowledged the sacrifices and encouragement from her mum has been instrumental in her success as a footballer.

The Atletico Madrid star was speaking at the official press conference ahead of the Super Falcons second game against Australia on Wednesday and described her mum as the best in the world.

“My mum has always been a great pillar of support and I am sure she is proud of me,” She said.

“She is my greatest supporter and am glad she would be watching me play at this World Cup. She wouldn’t sleep, as she would be praying and supporting the team as a whole.

Rasheedat Ajibade missed the first game of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, over suspension and would be fit to face the Co-host Australia on Thursday.
