NAIJA SUPER 8: Our Fans Are Wonderful Esctactic Sabina Chikere Appreciates All Insurance Stakeholders.

The management of Bendel Insurance Football Club of Benin has expressed their appreciation of fans and supporters of the club over their immense contributions to the club, particularly their participation and overwhelming voting in the Flykite Production process for selection of football clubs for the maiden NAIJA SUPER 8 tournament.

The Benin Arsenals made the list of participants from South-South zone of the country along with Rivers Utd during the unveiling ceremony of the NAIJA SUPER 8 tournament in Lagos on Friday evening.

The message of appreciation of Bendel Insurance management was contained in a statement signed by the General Coordinator of the club Mrs Sabina Chikere immediately after the unveiling ceremony of the tournament’s participating clubs which held in Lagos .

Bendel Insurance FC and Rivers Utd picked the South-South Tickets ahead of many others after football fans voting process that lasted for about two months.

According to Mrs Sabina Chikere, “Our fans and supporters are wonderful! You people gave it to us and we really appreciate all of you.
Together,we will build a strong football family we all can be proud of. Be ready to follow us to the tournament and we will not disappoint you. Adaaaa Bendel!”

A total of twelve clubs have been unveiled to participate in the NAIJA SUPER 8 preceding Zonal playoffs
scheduled to hold in Eket from June 23-25.
According to the organizers, the NAIJA SUPER 8 tournament proper is expected to hold in Lagos from July 7 and end on July 16. #

Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu popularly known as tobex is the Vice chairman of Sports writers Association of Nigeria , lagos Chapter. She Is also the Media Spokesperson of the Super Falcons of Nigeria. She is an award winning women's football writer. Tobex is also an ex footballer that was privileged to play in the first NFF organised women's league in 1990 as a player of Hamza Queens. Her last club as an active footballer was Ibom Angels as She paved way to further her education years ago. She is a Federal Government scholar , with a degree in Mass communication, a second degree in Public Relations and Advertising (Communication Studies). She is a Wife and Mother.
