The High Commission of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in Australia, led by Mr. Anderson Madubike has charged the Super Falcons to go all out and make Nigeria proud at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

Madubike during a welcome party, organised on behalf of the players and officials of the Super Falcons, held at the Mecure Hotels, Gold Coast on Thursday, promised to keep giving support to the team, also tasking them to go beyond the quarter Finals.
“First of all, on behalf of the Federal Government of Nigeria and the High Commission here in Canberra, welcome you all to this wonderful country.

“Indeed, the story and success of African Football cannot be mentioned without the Super Falcons. It is a great honour to be one of the four African countries that qualified for this year’s world cup.
“I urge you all, to put in your best, so you can surpass the record, set in 1999 (Quarterfinal).
The Super Falcons will kickoff their campaign against Canada on the 21st of July, Australia on the 27th and Republic of Ireland on the 31st of July.
