NPFL: Race for Top Scorer Gets Heat Up as Two Players Levels with Rabiu Ali on 10 Goals

The race for the 2020/2021 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season has taken a new dimension as two players scored on MD 25 to level with legendary Kano Pillars midfielder Rabiu Ali.

Nasarawa United’s Silas Nwankwo who is enjoying his most productive season ever in the top tier of the npfl was in a sensational form as his 9th and 10th goal of the season led his side to a 3-1 win over Warri Wolves at the Lafia City Stadium.

In Jos, it was Mohammed Zulkifilu who got his tenth of the season after converting from 12 yards in the 68th minutes as he led Plateau United took the three points off Katsitna United at the new Jos Stadium.

Three players are already on 10 goals as others are really breathing down their necks and one of them is Jude Stephen scored his 9th goal of the season in the 2-1 loss to FC Ifeanyi in Nnewi.

Ossy Martins solitary strike was enough to hand Lobi Stars a resounding win over Enugu Rangers at the Aper Aku stadium in Makurdi for his joined Mustapha Ibrahim on 8 goals each.
