FC Robo Queens defender Kehinde Akinwande has insisted they the ‘Lagos Landladies’ are on the right path despite their loss against Sunshine Queens on Friday evening.
Akinwande has been fantastic in all the games played so far in the ongoing NWFL Premiership Super 6 and has remained confident that Emmanuel Osahon’s approach, which include a more aggressive pressing system will get them back to winning ways on Sunday when they face Delta Queens.
“We are not happy with the result, but we know where we are going, what we are doing, what the coach is demanding from us and we are trying to do that,” Akinwande said”We did our best, but we were unlucky a bit, but that is football, it can happen.
The most important thing is to stay positive, believe in ourselves and to keep working the same way and we shall win against Delta Queens on Sunday.” She concluded.
Delta Queens and FC Robo Queens will slug it out in the last game of the Super 6 campaign on Sunday evening at the Otunba Dipo Dina international stadium, Ijebu-ode.
