Super Falcons Defender Glory Ogbonna is delighted over her team’s impressive performance in the Turkish Kadin SuperLigi Playoff against 1207 Antalya Spor Kulubu on Tuesday afternoon.
The Black Falcons defeated their host 4-0 in Antalya and will await them on Saturday in Besiktas for the second leg encounter of the Playoffs.
Speaking immediately after the game, the former Santa Teresa FC Defender was excited and admitted it was a very good game for her side.
“A very good start for us, winning 4-0 away from home gives you a lot of confidence ahead of the return leg.
“We are ready for the remainder of the matches left in the playoff and definitely have set our eyes and goals on winning the league, so we can qualify for the UEFA Women’s Champions League next season.
“It has been a really great experience for me here in Besiktas, as I have been able to explore, from playing centre defence sometimes, to playing right back. I have enjoyed every moment so far.
“It’s important we keep on putting our best in our games, until we deservedly become Turkish Kadin SuperLigi Champions.” She concluded.
Besiktas will face 1207 Antalya Spor Kulubu on Saturday in Instabul in the second leg encounter of the playoffs.
