Barcelona Femeni Star, Asisat Oshoala was pleased with the Super Falcons 2-0 win over Haiti on Friday in one of the preparatory games towards the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, in Australia and New Zealand.

The win on Friday, was an important one, as it was the second time, the team will record victory in a row, a feat Oshoala, thinks the team can build on, going into the World Cup.
“I think I feel happy, the team is progressing as we are all trying to work towards the World Cup. The team is still coming up, the building process is continuous, we’ll keep working hard until it becomes a reality,” She said.

The CAF Women Footballer of the year also reacted to the return of herself and her attacking partner Desire Oparanozie.
“It’s a great opportunity for me and Desire to be back into the team. It is indeed, a great addition to the team, but we have always had a good team, regardless of who is in or out. The girls will always deliver. The most important thing is that we are building a team together and trying to understand each other with time.”
The Nine time African Champion will be back in action Wednesday evening as they take on New Zealand in Antalya, Turkey.
