A fast growing Football Academy, Paul E Academy is set to take her talents hunt program to selected senior secondary schools in the Federal Capital Territory.
Revealing this in an interview, the Chairman/Chief Executive Officer of the Academy Chikebebe Somtoochukwu
said the main idea for the secondary school invitational tournament is to caught them young and nurture them for the future.
He said they intends to potentially affiliate these schools, support them in sports and donate sporting equipments to them to enhance the faster development of the players in their schools. “We would give them a platform to be able to showcase their talents”.
The Academy Boss said the major aim of establishing his Academy is to create a platform where talented youths can be given an opportunity to exhibit their skills.
“When we are talking of development not only football wise, but psychological to get them mentally ready for the bigger task ahead. We are there to discover these talents and develop them to the European standard”.
He said the target of Paul E Academy is to discover the players, monitor their progress to ensure that they develop adequately before introducing them to the wider football market. “We are not in a hurry to do that, we must ensure that they have developed adequately before we start thinking of moving them further” he concluded.
Paul E Academy is based in Abuja, and nurture players from the ages of 12 to 17.
