Abidemi Payne, the mother of Nigerian born Football sisters, Toni and Nicole Payne is delighted as her daughter, Nicole signed a three year deal with French Club Paris St Germain on Thursday.

Nicole, 22, is the younger sister of Toni Payne, who is a member of the Super Falcons squad competing at this year’s FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

Reacting to her daughter’s recent progress, the proud mother said she isn’t surprised about it, because Nicole is indeed a hardworker and a player who always gives her all on the pitch.
“I am proud of both of my daughters, they deserve the best, because I know how dedicated they are to their chosen careers,” She said.

“Nicole joining PSG, is a good one for her career, it gives her a different atmosphere and an experience she needs to go through to become a better player.
“I wish her the very best in her new football adventure and confident, she is going to be successful in France.
Nicole was a member of the Super Falcons squad that finished fourth at the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations (WAFCON) Moroco, last year.
After graduation, Nicole joined University of Southern California, participating in all the matches, while accumulating a total of three goals in 16 games.
