Rinsola Babajide Thrilled After Receiving Maiden Super Falcons Call-Up


UDG Tenerife Forward Rinsola Babajide is thrilled to be called up to the Nigerian Women National Senior team, the Super Falcons for the first time, as the Super Falcons get set to face Ethiopia for the 2024 Olympic qualifiers.

The 25 year old has enjoyed an excellent season at UD Tenerife, after joining the team from Real Betis at the beginning of the season.

Omorinsola Babajide was born on 17 June 1998 known as Rinsola Babajide, and plays as a winger for Spanish Liga F club UDG Tenerife. She previously played for Liverpool, Millwall Lionesses and Watford Ladies Football Club, Brighton & Hove Albion and she has represented England at Under 21 levelRinsola Babajide Thrilled After Receiving Maiden Super Falcons Call-Up

The Super Falcons will face Ethiopia on Wednesday, the 25th of October 2023 in Adis Abbaba, while the return leg will be played in Nigeria on the 31st of same month.

She is an award winning women's football writer. Tobex is also an ex footballer that was privileged to play in the first NFF organised women's league in 1990 as a player of Hamza Queens. Her last club as an active footballer was Ibom Angels as She paved way to further her education years ago. She is a Federal Government scholar , with a degree in Mass communication, a second degree in Public Relations and Advertising (Communication Studies). She is a Wife and Mother.
