Super Falcons Captain Onome Ebi insists that average placed Abia Angels is the best option for her after she opted to play for the NWFL Premiership side.

Onome Ebi has been unattached since she parted ways with the newly promoted Spanish side Levante months back.
The 5 times World Cup participant in a bid to fight being match rusty and play competitive games regularly settled for Abia Angels.
She explained exclusively to tobexmedia.com that she was comfortable playing for a team that is being handled by one of the assistant coaches of the Super Falcons Ann Chiejine.
“Abia Angels is the best place for me at this moment Because I have my National team Coach to help and monitor my training”.
Onome Ebi whose major focus is to be fit and make a Nigerian record breaking 6th time appearance at the world cup was factual and realistic in her response.
“I need to be active and stay in form as I prepare for the world cup.”. She stated.
Abia Angels are placed 5th in the NWFL Premiership group B that consists of Group leader Confluence Queens, FC Robo, Edo Queens, Nasarawa Amazons, Adamawa Queens and Ibom Angels. With two more matches to go in this season’s NWFL Premiership, though very difficult, Abia Angels seem to have missed out of the prestigious NWFL Premiership Super 6 this season.
The 7 times WAFCON player is also optimistic that the Super Falcons will go beyond the group stage in Australia.
“We have a mixture of experienced and young players in the team , my experience is a huge advantage to the team as we face our challenges of wining our matches together”. She said
The Super Falcons are presently in Antalya, Turkey where the team will engage co host New Zealand and new entrant Haiti on the 7th and 11th of April in preparatory games ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup in New Zealand and Australia later in the year.
