Super Falcons Media Chief Tobe-Chukwu , Top Gender Rights Activist Ronke Bello to lecture in Ekiti State

The Media Spokesperson of the Nigeria Women’s National Football Team – the Super Falcons, Mrs. Oluchi Tobex Tobe-Chukwu and Arabinrin Ronke Bello a Top Gender Rights Activist and executive director of FAME foundation will be guest speakers as the Ekiti State Football Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports Development holds an inaugural Women’s Football Symposium across all the 16 Local Football Councils in the state on Tuesday 18th April 2023.

Arabinrin Aderonke Bello would teach the topic: Breaking Barriers of women football in Nigeria: Education, Development and Sustainability while Mrs. Oluchi would talk about Building On The Development Of Women Football In Nigeria. Inspiring Positive Change, Nurturing & Replicating In Ekiti State. Expected at the event are; Mrs. Olapeju Babafemi , Ekiti State FA Patroness and former Head of Service in Ekiti State, Mrs. Tola Faseluka – Perm Sec, Min of Sports and Youth Development, Mrs. Sola Adeluyi – Perm Sec , Ministry of Women Affairs, Mrs. Olatilu , Dir. Women Affairs, Min of Women Affairs, Hon. Princess Iyabo Okieimen – Member Elect, Ekiti State House of Assembly. Others are: Representatives of Gender Mobile, group that advocates gender protection and equity, Mrs. Jumoke Abe, Head Coach, The Federal Polytechnic, Ado Ekiti and Women’s Football Committee members from across the Local Football Councils in Ekiti State

Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu

Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu popularly known as tobex is the Vice chairman of Sports writers Association of Nigeria , lagos Chapter. She Is also the Media Spokesperson of the Super Falcons of Nigeria. She is an award winning women's football writer. Tobex is also an ex footballer that was privileged to play in the first NFF organised women's league in 1990 as a player of Hamza Queens. Her last club as an active footballer was Ibom Angels as She paved way to further her education years ago. She is a Federal Government scholar , with a degree in Mass communication, a second degree in Public Relations and Advertising (Communication Studies). She is a Wife and Mother.
