The 9th Seyi Akinwunmi Charity Foundation Mini-Tournament was held yesterday, December 23rd 2002 at the Mobolaji Johnson Sports Arena, Onikan Lagos.

The Charity event is an initiative of renowned Finance Lawyer and former Vice-President of the NFF, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi who attained the jubilee age of 60 this year, with 60 Students getting scholarships.

The Seyi Akinwunmi foundation has also supported more than 200 indigent students in collaboration with the Courage Education Foundation which was also conceived and co-founded by Seyi Akinwunmi over 17 years ago.

Oluchi Tobe-Chukwu (Tobex) is a football writer, media executive, and vice chairman of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, Lagos chapter.
