The Nigerian Women’s National team will participate in the first edition of the Women’s Revelation Cup, senior category to be held in the city of Leon, Guanajuato, Mexico from February 15th to 21st.


The announcement was made at a virtual press conference, with the participations of Super Falcons Head Coach, Randy Waldrum, Arturo Fiszman, Director of Operations of Curve ball Sports, Rafael Guiterrez, Assistant General Manager of TV4, Amelia Valverde, Technical Director of the Costa Rica Women National Team, Nelson Abadia, Technical Director of the Colombia Women Football team and Pedro Lopez, Technical Director of the Mexican Women National team.

Nigeria Coach, Randy Waldrum pointed out that , it is an opportunity for his team to grow ahead of the World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.
“I am very excited. It is a great opportunity, being an American, I know Mexico and Costa Rica well and I have been able to see the growth in their National team and in their professional leagues. Everyone knows the quality of Colombia. So it’s a great opportunity to prepare with three excellent matches for the World Cup”. He Concluded.

The first edition of the tournament will have the Women National teams of Mexico, Colombia, Costa Rica and Nigeria.
