Simultaneous action for Nigeria as Patience Madu takes charge of Ghana, Uganda

Nigerian FIFA badge referee Patience Ndidi Madu has been appointed to officiate the second leg fixture of the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifier between the Black Princesses of Ghana and the Young Crested Cranes of Uganda.

The 33-year FIFA referee will be assisted by compatriots Mimisen Agatha Iyorhe (Assistant I), Beauty Kabeda Terah (Assistant II), and Hannah Elaigwe (Fourth Referee).

The famous referee who represented Nigeria in the Tokyo Olympics games football event and also won the 2021 AITEO Awards for the Best Female Referee in Nigeria, handled a (Black Maidens) and Liberia game in March 2020.

Ghana holds a 2-1 advantage from the first leg and will be hosting their Ugandan opponent at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium today, February 5, at 3 pm while Nigeria’ Falconets will play Cameroon in Abuja, Nigeria. The first leg eneded goalless.
