FC Robo’ and Super Falcons forward Gift Monday has used the Betsy Obaseki Invitational tournament to announce her proficiency and consistency in scoring goals.
Gift who incidentally is the highest goal scorer of the NWFL premiership 2020/2021 with 11 goals went firing on all cylinders from match day 1 of the tournament.
FC Robo defeated a fellow premiership side Royal Queens of Warri by 5 goals to nil with Gift Monday scoring a brace in the match.
On match Day 2 at the Western boys high School mini Stadium in the presence of Her excellency Betsy Obaseki and Deputy Governor Rt Hon Philip Shuaibu , Gift Monday honourably announced her self in what could be termed as the tournament record by scoring 5 goals that demolished Fotress Ladies of Benin City.

FC Robo’ captain Gift has indeed contributed immensely providing 7 goals in the total of 10 goals that her team scored so far on match day 2.
Rivers Angels and FC Robo will slug it out on Thursday at the UniBen sports complex to determine who gets the semi final slot.
