Former Super Falcons goalkeeper Judith Chime has added another academic milestone to her profile after earning a Master’s Degree in Sports Management from Southern New Hampshire University in the United States of America.
Chime, who completed the programme over two academic sessions, had earlier obtained her first degree in Health Care Management with a minor in Integrated Studies from Clayton State University in 2007.
Speaking after her achievement, an elated Chime expressed deep gratitude to God Almighty and all those who supported her throughout the programme.
She described the journey as demanding but rewarding, noting that the new qualification will enhance her contribution to sports development.
The former international also revealed that her immediate focus is on her annual youth initiative in Nigeria, scheduled to hold from December 11 to 20, 2026. According to her, the programme—now in its fifth edition—is designed to empower young girls and help them discover their potential.
“My focus now is to organize my yearly program in Nigeria which is in the fifth edition to see how we can help the girl child to discover themselves,” Chime said.
Her achievement marks another example of Nigerian athletes leveraging education to impact lives beyond the pitch, particularly in grassroots and youth development.
