The Chioma Ajunwa Foundation for the 4th time in four years extended a show of love to over 80 widows on Christmas eve.
The event took place in her home in Ikeja as the widows were hosted, blessed with gifts and cash.
She assured that the Foundation would do more in the next edition as plans have been put in place to embrace and offer scholarships to indigent students.
” This year we have been able to reach out to widows, we hope to do more especially in the area of scholarships.
We would get the needed support from individuals and corporate bodies to be able to achieve our dreams”. She stated.
She further explained the motivation behind the project that it is the love she had for her mother who was a widow for 38 years and singlehandedly trained 9 children.
“I just want to show the widows that I love them, I care for them and understand what they are going through”. She stated.
The widows who got rice, cash gifts, wrapper, and other items from the Ajunwa Foundation expressed Joy and Prayed for the foundation to grow from strength to strength.
