Betsy Obaseki Football Tournament; Match Day 3: Owoeye, Okoronkwo’s braces completes Nasarawa Amazons Hammer of Bravehearts Ladies

We got to witness another thrilling day of the 2022 edition of the Betsy Obaseki Women Football Tournament. Three teams recorded victory on Matchday Three with 17 goals scored.

Nasarawa Amazons opened up week three games with an emphatic 10-1 victory over Bravehearts Ladies of Benin. Kesiana Ojiyovwi netted thrice in the 30th, 66th and 77th Minutes of the game, while Temitope Owoeye, Amarachi Okoronkwo scored a brace each.

In the second match of the day, Royal Queens defeated Royaltoms International FC by two goals to nil. Ayomide Arowokeye and Favour Ijeje scored in the 8th and 78th minute to earn the Canadian Geese a alot in the Quarter Finals.

Confluence Queens defeated Fortress Ladies by three goals to one, in the last game of Friday. Diminutive Midfielder Merit Offor scored the first goal in the 21st Minute, before Titilayo Abdullah doubled the lead in the 27th Minute, Esther Moses scored one back for Fortress Ladies in the 51st minute through a solo run, but Confluence Queens responded almost immediately through Chiamaka Isigwe’s strike two minutes later.

Quarter Final encounters will kick-off on Monday in two centres!
