The captain of newly promoted side Ikorodu City Football Club is optimistic that the team is in good stead to play top fight football in Nigeria.
” My first stint with the team was last season as the captain and we gained promotion to the NNL. I believe we can replicate such good run in the NNL.

Ikorodu City won their first game in the ongoing ekofootball NNL Preseason Tournament, the team won Sporting Lagos by 2 goals to one at the Teslim Balogun Stadium, Surulere.
Day 3 matches continue at the same venue by 9am.
