Taraba State Sports Council Disown Conveners Of Zoom Meeting…. “We Don’t Have Basketball Association, You Can’t Speak For Us”.. DOS

The Taraba State Sports Council has disowned the purported zoom meeting being organized by one Danjuma Goyo and Ahmadu Abba for Igoche Mark on the NBBF New Leadership and Prospects of Basketball Development in Nigeria.

In a disclaimer signed by the Taraba State Director of Sports George Shitta, the general public was informed that the State has not reconstituted her Basketball Association, and will disassociate itself from the imposters.

The release read in part ” The Taraba State Sports Council wished to inform the general public that it has reconstituted its State Basketball Association and therefore nobody should parade himself or herself as representative(s) of the Association”.

“This declaimer becomes necessary in view of the purported zoom meeting of one Danjuma Goyo And Ahmadu Abba are publicizing to hold with Mr Igoche Mark on the topic ” NBBF New Leadership and Prospects of Basketball Development in Nigeria”

The general public is asked to disregard this advertisement as the above mentioned are not in position of speaking or taking any position for Taraba State Basketball Association” the Director of Sports concluded.
