Randy Waldrum, Super Falcons Head Coach has warned his players that they must be at their best against the ‘Swallows’ of Burundi in Sunday’s last group game of the 2022 Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations.
The Burundi Ladies have lost their first two games against the ‘Mares’ of Botswana and the ‘Banyana Banyana’ of South Africa and will now face nine-time Champions, Nigeria on Sunday.
“It is true that we want to build on what we have, so there wouldn’t be massive changes in the squad against Burundi.
“Every game is new, so that would be the approach we will take for every game. We have to keep winning, that’s the idea.
“Every squad, every team are fully capable of causing problems for us, so we have to respect that. We can’t overlook Burundi, we have to go into the game with a lot of commitment.” He concluded.
