WAFCON 2022| Ohale Heap Praises On Teammates, Task Them Ahead Cameroon Clash

Super Falcons Defender, Osinachi Ohale hailed every member of the team for a fantastic display on Sunday, as the Nigerian Ladies won their Burundian Counterparts by four goals to nil.

Athletico Madrid forward Rasheedat Ajibade opened the scoring in the 25th minute, Peace Efih scored three minutes later to double the lead, before Tigres UANL Forward Uchenna Kanu scored her brace in the 29th and 46th minute to make it 4-0.

The experienced defender was voted woman of the match and acknowledged that it was her first time being honoured as the best player in a match, thereby dedicating the award to her hardworking teammates.

“It is a big honour for me, I must confess,” She said.

“Thus is my first time ever, winning the player of the match award and I am so happy about it.

“After our first match, we came back stronger and did better against Botswana and Burundi, we all put in a lot of hard work and hopefully, we would do more and remain stronger in the competition.

“Our next opponent are a very good side, and we need to remain optimistic and solid on the pitch so that we can achieve our aim. We are very hopeful and certain of going past them.” She concluded.
