The Chairman of the Lagos State Football Association Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi made a call to club owners to take care of their players Properly.
He made this call while interacting with the media/ draws of the upcoming ekofootball NNL Preseason Tournament kick starting on the 19th of January 2022.
He urged the NNL Clubs to focus on their players and treat them correctly.
” It is your duty to focus on your players , treat them well and house the players decently.
I have had cause to shut a camp facility in Lagos because welfare was Zero and the players were packed like sadines”.
Akinwunmi who also doubles as the 1st Vice President of the Nigerian Football Federation urged the clubs to use the Preseason Tournament to fine tune their programme and see the quality in their players during competitive matches as they prepare for the NNL new season.
The NNL 2022 season will commence in February and Lagos State boast of 5 Clubs playing in the division.
