The chairman of the Lagos State Football Association Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi recently in Lagos spoke on the fatherly role the Association is ready to play with Lagos based Football clubs.
” We would do everything possible within the law to help our clubs”. He stated.
He also used the platform to admonish club owners from contacting him for unrealistic and impossible terms.
” There are abundance of good players in Lagos. If your recruitment is bad then it is your fault.
We have a hard working Association that has a higher percentage focus on grassroots Football.
Many of you can testify that the players we groomed eventually graduate to the various teams in Lagos “. He stated.
Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi spoke on the need for clubs to look inwards for resourceful players, focus on the welfare of their players and corporate with the Association.
