Aisha Falode Hails Pinnick Led NFF For Uncommon Support Towards Women’s Football In Nigeria

Super Falcons Chef De Mission to the Morocco 2022 Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations, Aisha Falode has praised the present Board of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), led by FIFA Council Member, Amaju Pinnick for their uncommon support of the growth and development of Women’s Football in the country.

Speaking from Rabat in a live interview session with Mitchell Obi’s popular Radio programme ‘Sports Salsa’, the vibrant and resourceful NWFL Chairperson disclosed that the NFF have shown an Incontestable love and passion for women’s football growth since they came into office.

“No doubt, the present Nigeria Football Federation board has done a lot in the area of women’s Football, welfare has been top-notch, preparations for competitions and many more. Before the USA Women’s National team equal pay campaign, the Super Falcons earned the same amount as the Super Eagles in 2018, when they won the AWCON.

“The Amaju Pinnick-led NFF has also taken. advantage of every FIFA international calendar free day to play top quality grade ‘A’ matches, from the game against the world number one, the U.S Women National team, to the Canadian Women’s National team, the invitationals in China, Turkish Women’s Cup and others. This has never happened before now.

The NFF Board Member also spoke about the chances of the Super Falcons winning the tournament for a record 10 times.

“We are confident and definitely the girls are in a very good mood. The Manager, Randy Waldrum knows the history of the Super Falcons in the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations and he is fully prepared to deliver with no pressure at all.

The Super Falcons are drawn in Group C Alongside South Africa Botswana and Burundi and would face the Bayana Bayana on the fourth of July.
