Super Falcons Captain Onome Ebi Wants Fans To Support Through Thick And Thin

The Captain of the Super Falcons, Onome Ebi on Friday urged the Nigeria fans to support them through thick and thin, as they prepare to jet out of the country for the 2022 Edition of the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations in Morocco.

Ebi, who scored the only goal for the 9-time African Champions as they played a 1-1 draw against NWFL Premiership Champions, Bayelsa Queens on Thursday evening in Abuja.

The former FC Minsk defender will be playing at her 7th Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations in Morocco and understands what the massive support they usually receive from the supporters and fans means to the team.

“We can’t play without the fans,” Their support on the pitch gives us extra morale to want to do more.

“We as a team, just want to urge the fans and supporters to keep supporting us through thick and thin and never give up on us. We are determined and more focused to go all the way to make it our tenth title.” She concluded.

The Super Falcons Captain is the only African player that has played at the FIFA Women’s World Cup five times and she is a four-time winner of the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations.
