Morocco 2022: Nigerian Referee Ndidi Madu & Assistant Referee Mimisen Iyorhe Passes Fitness Test Ahead WAFCON

Top Nigeria Referee, Ndidi Madu will officiate at next month’s Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations after passing the final Referees Medical and Fitness test in Morocco.

CAF Listed 16 Referees, 16 Assistant Referees and 8 VAR Referees for the biggest Africa Women Football fiesta some weeks ago and two Nigerians Ndidi Madu (Referee) and Mimisen Iyorhe (Assistant Referee) made the cut.

Madu and Iyorhe are just two of the 16 Referees that passed their test on Sunday, while another sixteen will go through the rounds for a compulsory test before they can get the nod for the Nations Cup.

The selected officials will now have to wait for the official refereeing schedule to know the games they will be involved in at the WAFCON.

The 12th Edition of the Women’s Africa Cup Of Nations will Hold In Morocco from the 2nd of July to the 23rd. A total of twelve teams are expected to participate.
